Orana Park

 Hello, yesterday My class (room 6) and room 5 went to Orana park. We  were split into two groups.

 We saw lions, a Kiwi bird, tigers, axolotl, ducks, frogs, rhinos, boars, monkeys, gorillas, rabbits, llamas, water buffaloes,  Tasmanian devils, African dogs, otters, cheetahs, and probably a few more. We saw lots of animals that I forgot some of them. We also saw and fed the giraffes, but the giraffes only ate some of the food that we were holding.

Fun facts: A Cheetah's heart rate can beat 60-150 heart beats a minute when running. A Tasmanian devil can have up to twenty babies but only four survives. if you beat your chest or show your teeth, or make eye contact with a gorilla, it means you want to have a fight with that gorilla.

Chocolate Day

 Hello, yesterday we were doing an activity about chocolate day. 

We were also looking at the history chocolates. It all started back in 1500-4400 BC when it was first recorded of use of Cacao beans by the Olmec Indians in Mexico. Lots of things happened to the Cacao bean from 900 BC to 1941. 

We also watched the movie Charlie and the chocolate factory yesterday.

Dragon Theme Term

 Hello! This term our theme is about dragons. Our writing activities are based of dragons. We're Writing a report about a coloured dragon. We have to pick if we want to do Red dragons, Green dragons, Blue dragons & white dragons. I picked to do Red dragons. We Have to use the 6 different sentence type.

I found doing it really easy. We are doing dragon theme this term because by June 23, we are having a School production called 'Dragon Days'. When we finished doing our report about the coloured dragon, we're working on our own dragons next.

Bernadette Newspaper Article

 Hello! Today we were learning about Bernadette. We were going to pick if we wanna do a journal/diary or a news article. I picked to do a news article because it's easier for me to do and because we did a news article at Cybersmart last year. 

We were going to pick if we wanna do a journal/diary or a news article because if we wanna do a We were going to pick if we wanna do a journal/diary, we're going to pretend we're Bernadette and were writing the experience of what happened in the grotto. if newspaper article, we're going to pretend that we're a news reporter interviewing Bernadette. I made my news article just like last year's Cybersmart. Easter Triduum

 Hello!

 Today we were learning about the Easter Triduum. The Easter Triduum were the different events happening leading up to holy week. some of  the different events were like when Jesus washed his diciple's feet and the last supper. 

Last week we started doing something for R.E about the Easter Triduum, when there are two pictures. But, when look at one angle you will see one picture.    And, when you look at another angle, you will see the other picture.
