Orana Park

Hello, yesterday My class (room 6) and room 5 went to Orana park. We  were split into two groups.

We saw lions, a Kiwi bird, tigers, axolotl, ducks, frogs, rhinos, boars, monkeys, gorillas, rabbits, llamas, water buffaloes,  Tasmanian devils, African dogs, otters, cheetahs, and probably a few more. We saw lots of animals that I forgot some of them. We also saw and fed the giraffes, but the giraffes only ate some of the food that we were holding.

Fun facts: A Cheetah's heart rate can beat 60-150 heart beats a minute when running. A Tasmanian devil can have up to twenty babies but only four survives. if you beat your chest or show your teeth, or make eye contact with a gorilla, it means you want to have a fight with that gorilla.

Have you ever been to a zoo?

What a fantastic blog post! You have included lots of information from our visit. I too found it interesting that Tasmanian Devils have up to 20 babies! They were my favourite animal. What was yours?

    Keep up the amazing blogging.
